As the home of the Hampstead Heath extension, Golders Green is a leafy suburb in the heart of London. With its very own exotic birds zoo and water garden within the Golders Hill park, this area features charming Arts and Crafts homes from around the 1900’s alongside more modern additions. Our client approached us with the intention of creating a contemporary practical space which would attract potential tenants in this highly desirable location.
The home: 2 bedroom flat in a purpose built block, which has not been refurbished for more than 20 years.
The challenge: As the property was an investment for a client that lives overseas, this needed to be both a practical and beautiful space for future tenants. The aim was to create an open plan living and kitchen area with a change of layout and refurbishment of all areas. It was important that the work was carried out within 16 weeks from the start date and to a very strict budget. Regular communication with the client was essential as they were located abroad.
We worked on this property as a complete end to end project, providing project management, design and build for our client.
The project was completed on time and to budget due to careful planning and communication. We completed an entire refurbishment that included a new kitchen and bathroom – alongside a change to layout to create a more practical open plan space in this 2-bed flat.
